Home Game Robbed Caught on Video

A home game in Raleigh, North Carolina was robbed just last week and was caught on video from out the front on the house. It looks like the person they have held up at the front door is poker pro Michael Gracz's. The best thing out of this is when the robbers busted in they said "this is a robbery" and then one of the locals in the game said "No its not" and they started exchanging gun fire, pretty fucking crazy. Annie Duke Interview About Argument on Celebrity Apprentice

Yes yes i do make myself sick everytime i write the words Annie Duke (just threw up again) on this page but this one i have to mention. She's had a big argument on Celebrity Apprentice with Joan Rivers, who attacked poker players in general saying "poker players are part of the mob and beyond white trash". Yevgeniy "Jovial Gent" Timoshenko Wins WPT Event

Yevgeniy "Jovial Gent" Timoshenko has won the Five-Star World Poker Classic WPT Championship Event for over 2 milly fo rilly or $2,149,960 to be exact. Everyone should know of Yevgeniy Timoshenko as Jovial Gent from Pokerstars who is a tournament god there and also has a 92% approval rating on pocketfives but only a 58.9% approval rating on Two Plus Two because he doesn't play many cash games.

Also Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier has won the WPT Year End Title which comes as no surprise because he has been making final tables like crazy. So congrats him for winning that and coming 3rd in this particular WPT event.

In other news from this event Scotty "I'm a annoying and delusional drunk" Nguyen is now on suicide watch after coming 6th and missing out on becoming the 3rd, 2nd and 1st biggest money winner of all time. So we can all give him a big LOL.

Leatherass Golf and Poker Challenge

Leatherass has put out his own challenge to anyone claiming he is the best golfer and poker player and he is going to put up a cool 1 million against anyone who wants to bet with him. I'm not sure how the challenge will work or if it will ever happen, but it doesn't matter because the poker community in particular the Twoplustwo community love these challenges.

Annie Duke On Celebrity Apprentice

Looks like she has big plans in the show. It also looks like she is doing OK and survived another Boardroom meeting. I'm sure if twoplustwo's and Pocketfivers got to decide and who would stay, Annie would be around for about as long as she was at the Pocketfives forums.

If you didn't know she was basically berated in every thread while she was trying to advertise and stick up for Ultimatebet. Her stay at pocketfives would of been much shorter if the people that ran Pocketfives weren't getting paid from Ultimatebet and deleting every post that talked Annie and Ultimatebet down.

It seems like there is an on going debate on TwoPlusTwo.com Forums about who would win in a Freeze Out No-Limit Holdem match between Stu Ungar and Phil Ivey. Most Twoplustwo posters seem to pick Phil Ivey saying poker has gone a long way since Stu Ungar would dominate no limit tournaments.

To stir the plot David Sklansky asked Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan who they think would win and they both choose Stu Ungar. David Sklansky says he doesn't have an opinion about who he thinks would win but just passing on the message.

It with out a doubt seems like a very interesting question and one that will never be answered with certainty because Stu Ungar is obviously dead. If i was to pick i would say Phil Ivey would win hands down because although Stu Ungar beat full ring tournaments he was a fish in the big cash games where Ivey dominates both especially the biggest cash games in the world.

The Poker Star Reality TV Show

This is pretty cool. "The poker Star" is a new reality TV show in Australia that's going to take 8 poker players from Australia and whoever proves themselves in challenges will become "the poker star". Joe Hachem will be the guy making the decisions on the show and i guess will choose who is the biggest "poker star". The winner of the show will get $100,000, the buy in for 4 major poker events and a years worth of training from the 2005 World Champ Joe Hachem (whether this will be good or bad is a different question).
